Survivor Series 2002 Predictions Here are the predictions for the Survivor Series from us at the Outside Influence. Dan Glamour is in normal text, and my (PerfectOne) predictions are in italics. Enjoy and give us feedback via e-mail or on our message board. Elimination Chamber
Match This match has such
great potential. When Eric Bishoff described the Elimination Chamber it
sounded pretty good. Two men start and four mean are locked in cages.
Every so often one of the cages opens. The match ends when everyone has
been eliminated. This match is also way too tough to call. It is highly
unlikely that Shawn Michaels will walk away with this one. I am not even
sure if he will prevent Triple H from retaining the World Title. I mean
the Stephanie Factor is still a factor here. I don't think Chris Jericho
will win because he is a co-holder of the WWE Tag Team titles. Rob Van
Dam, Kane, and Booker T would all make great champions. I will go out
on a limb here and say that Triple H retains the title. I really hope
I am wrong on this one. I really wish I
could see the Survivor Series this Sunday on pay per view. This match
should be awesome! Shawn Michaels basically admitted on Raw that his utlimate
goal is not to win the title, but to make sure that Triple H does not
come out with the strap. I'm going with who I would like to see win, but
possibly not the most logical choice.
No way the Big Show
wins this match. The WWE has done a good job making Brock a legitimate
champion. Having him lose the title to someone like the Big Show would Well, this is calling
a match blind. I don't get to see Smackdown anymore, but I know some details
about this match. Brock Lesnar is still the next big thing. WWE Smackdown Tag
Team Championship Match This is going to be
the match of the night. It could be the match of the year. It could very
well possibly be the best match that you have ever seen. You have six
great performers in this one. And since this is PPV, they are all going
to pull out all of the stops. I believe that Edge and Rey Mysterio Jr.
will retain their titles. Again, it's a Smackdown
match. I wish I could see how these guys are putting on matches of a lifetime
week in and week out on Smackdown. Isn't it great that Edge and Christian
are tag champs at the same time again! WWE Women's Title
Match Do you know the only
thing worse than a women's match? A WOMEN'S HARDCORE MATCH!!! Gees, as
you may very well know, I am not a fan of Women's wrestling. This match
might be interesting but probably not. There has only been one Women's
hardcore match that I liked that it was between Ivory and Tori on RAW.
If Trish and Victoria want to put on a good match, take the fight into
the back. I think that the WWE is going to keep this feud going because
there isn't much competition in the Women's division. At least the WWE
is trying (somewhat) to give some credibility to the Women's title. It
would be great if the division were respectable, but we know that that
is most likely not going to happen. I like the feud these two are having
except for when Victoria refused to speak at the announcer's table. That's
so Jazz (January-ish, 2002). Anyhow, I don't see how Trish will retain
this time, since they need to give Victoria more credibility as a threat. Tag
Team Tables Match I am actually looking
forward to this match. I think it has been built up well. I like Three
Minute Warning. I think that Bubba Ray Dudley and Jeff Hardy can put on
a good match; it is just that they haven't been. I think that Rico and
Three Minute Warning will put Spike Dudley through a table. Although don't
worry all of you Jeff Hardy and Dudley fans, they will get some revenge. This is the Survivor
Series. Get rid of the Tag Team Tables idea, add an extra person to each
team, and make it a true Survivor Series Match. I miss the good old days
when these took place. Jeff Hardy is a freak and he needs a makeover or
needs to be fired. WWE Cruiserweight
Championship Title Match Jamie Noble has been
Cruiserweight champion an awfully long time. I look for a changing of
the guard. Billy Kidman would be good for the Cruiserweight title. The Noble still has
the belt? What? Get it off of him now!!! For a division that is supposed
to be unpredictable and highly competitive, its amazing that he has held
on to the belt as long as he has. Enjoy Survivor Series on pay per view. I will be catching it myself. It looks like it will be a good PPV. See you again on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever. |
